If I had a fiver for every time I have not labelled something, I would be a rich man!

If I had to take a punt at the top one, it has a sort of a salad leaf look to it to me, but I wouldn't really want to venture too much more than that - - - you need @Silver surfer!

      No you don't.
I rarely even attempt seed leaves.
      Pass.

Entirely my fault there @Silver surfer, and no offence intended - as you know, I remain in awe of your ability to identify plants. Thank you for responding to the tag so quickly.

          He he!
Dear Fat Controller.....I was extremely flattered.
          Absolutely no offence taken.
          Just know my limitation!
Seed leaves are so hard...unless you happen to be growing them.

Very difficult to ID seedlings, if Silver Surfer isn't going to have a guess, I think I will pass. I do know my level of incompetence :)

I thought at first this was going to relate to labels in the garden. Recently I saw my friendly fox tugging at a label for a rose bush. Labels in the garden do seem to attract the attention of wild life. Apart from foxy, I have watched Magpies getting upto all sorts of things, from burying nuts as do the squirrels to pinching labels. Magpies and crows often vist the garden with a chunk of bread, drop it in the bird bath and return later to enjoy a soft morsel.

I have met FC and I like him. I must say. I have many friends across the border. Jokingly. When has a tight fisted Scot, paid out for plant labels? Sorry mate couldn't resist that one. In real life. I find the Scots and the Yorkies, with their deep pockets and short arms, the most generous of folk.

Come on 'Cuddles' give me a hug. LOL.

@Upsydaisy , the site below may help. He has catalogued and photographed thousands of seedlings. A search on here may turn up the answer.
