The first thing I tried was on the browser :blue thumb: I used the cog wheel (Tools) to check it.

So, where do we go from here?

I used that phrase once when I was talking to the BT helpline in India. We'd gone through all their options twice, trying to sort out a different problem, and got nowhere. The response from the nice Indian lady (who spoke English very well) was "Mr Shiney, you don't need to go anywhere, we can sort it out from here."

After I got up from the floor, with tears in my eyes, we discussed things for a while. BT were never able to solve the problem. I now have a special agreement with them where they pay me more money than they charge me, for having paper bills!

I don't have the emblem that is shown in your explanation because I don't have Chrome. I have IE11 and Chrome disabled.

It appears to me that the problem is in Xenforo. At the bottom left of the GC screen is the Xenforo panel with it showing 'English (US)'. When I hover the cursor over the words it highlights 'Language Chooser'. When I go into that it only gives English (US) as an option.

I can hardly follow that with well no actually I'll be using the same old extension lead and RCD I was before thanks...

I changed to OVO 6 months ago ,all is well so far :dbgrtmb: Was with Npower before , who would pay any credit on your account back every year . Then they would increase the monthly payment by £30 ! Impossible to reason with them on fluctuating payments - so move to another provider. OVO seem to be about 20% cheaper , its difficult doing an exact comparison.

@IceColdRum Do you still need permission if it's run on a catenary wire? I spoke to an electrician recently who said he couldn't find any rules against it but you'd still need a part P certificate.

I ran the power to my greenhouse 40 years ago on a catenary, using armoured cable, and it's still working fine. :blue thumb: Actually, I think it's the catenary that's holding the greenhouse upright nowadays! :heehee:

I'm with Ovo as @HarryS - they are excellent and even give you 3% interested on any credits.

My gripe today is EE. I've recently left them (a couple of months early) and switched to Three. They've sent me my final bill (bearing in mind I was only paying £15.40 for my plan). The bill is for £104!!! Apparently I've gone over my part allocation of data so they have charged me £6.66 per MB! Cheeky barstewards. I will be contesting it on the basis that I've paid a month in advance which they haven't refunded. The bloke I spoke to said to ignore the bill as it shouldn't have been generated yet, but he said the charges were correct. I've cancelled the DD so will have that battle when the final bill is produced. Even if I do pay it, at least I've moved away from EE as they are absolutely dire. We've appointed them over a year ago as our work provider and we have yet to receive (or pay) a correct invoice as they've been overcharging us. The business development person we've been dealing with is very rude and absolutely useless. I don't know how he's still in a job.

                            latest moan from me.

Im absolutely shattered doing this drawing every day thing even tho its only been 7 days. im so drained and not functioning properly. I hate feeling like this but seriously high calorie food helps pull me out of it so i can function.

so i thought since its 50% off pizza at dominos lets get one of those and my fav base is their double decadence.

so went on the website and its not there and a few of the other bases have disappeared as well

so googled if it has gone and found posts on their uk facebook page and turns out that loads of bases are temporarily unavailable because they are out of stock!!!!!

how can a massive pizza operation like dominos be out of stock of several pizza bases and its not just one store

                            madness!
