Aha @Linz - no, I don't think I'd be going the colour stripping route. Did that many years ago because I wanted to try being a blond. It ruined my hair and I ended up looking like Rod Stewart (read: burnt out old hooker..hard as nails look) so I dyed it back to my own colour pronto!

Unfortunately, when changing colours frequently and/or using bleach or developer (Hydrogen Peroxide) you change the porosity of the hair and coverage becomes uneven. Using bleach or peroxide to remove colour makes the hair even more porous and it removes the base colours at different rates depending on the colour.

Different natural base colours have different size molecules with the browns and reds being smaller and easier to remove from the keratin cuticle with the yellows having larger molecules and being more difficult to remove. That's why when people try bleaching their hair they can end up with yellowish hair, because they haven't been able to remove the yellow molecules. Artificial stains, particularly green, are more difficult to remove from the more porous (damaged) hair. :noidea:

And that's the less technical explanation!!! :hate-shocked: :phew: :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

          I liked the green. :)

P.S. If you have highly bleached hair then you shouldn't go swimming in a swimming pool. The chlorine they use to keep the pool water disinfected adds a green colour to bleached hair! :rolleyespink:

OMG. I've just paid £3 for a cup of coffee. There is a new Starbucks opened up at the service area between my village and the next. It is ideally placed for me as its right in the middle of my catchment area. I don't think it will become my regular haunt. Its cheaper to get a take away from the filling station.

I once phoned the police to report a bag left outside the shop I was working in. The police wandered by about 3 hours later.

Watch out DVLA are out about catching tax,mot dodgers :yay::yahoo:

A member of my family has had their credit card hacked. The hackers always collect their goods from the same store. It wouldn't be too difficult to catch them in the act. Apparently that isn't the way it works.

Ps. As I'm not a tax or mot dodger they can where they like.

I'll save my VOSA stories for another time and place.

Not really sure what's happening @redstar ..its crazy, our village is really small - everyone knows who's who. We had a wwII bomb before but this sounds like a homemade one. This is an update from our police force.
