They go for 15p each in Morrisons of an evening when they start seriously reducing stuff. Mrs Scrungee once had a real struggle convincing me not to buy a whole trolley load at that price whilst on holiday, to take home for use in winemaking.

Good afternoon my son has just had a call from the garage to say his car has failed its MOT on the idling emission, they said that they think a service would correct it,service price £200 my son asked if this was a guarantee that it would pass the MOT he was told no but they think it would,if it didn't they would start looking at other solutions, surely this isn't right:dunno:

What :yikes: 132.98 Mb/s, The most we've ever had is 6Mb/s and that was when the line was replaced as the old wire had 10 faults and it was easyer to swop the wires over

We get over 100 mb/s on Virgin cable and the Wifi gives us 50 mb/s . The caravan we have in Cumbria the site internet is by WiFi and that gives us 25 mb/s , which we need as you can't get a mobile phone signal there. So we use WhatsApp for phone calls. 6 mb is very poor , I know you live out in the country , but would another service provider not give you a better speed ?

The highest speed we've ever had is 3Mb download and .8 upload. Carrier pigeon is faster!

I get annoyed by the ad on the radio about wanting to sell you a course on how to make money on the stock market whether the market goes up or down. If it's that easy then they shouldn't need to advertise a business to make money. They should be following their own rules and be coining it!

Lots of these on Youtube , you are not really investing in stocks . It is actually like just betting if stocks go up or down. You generally end up losing - and they win , suprise suprise !
Like all money making ventures , if it is so good why sell it too someone else.

C3386E50-63DE-431D-B556-2EFD79E5E72A.jpeg Mr Kandy always gets the garage to service our car before they do the MOT and this year they even sent a little video through to his mobile phone and tablet as the chap had got the car up high.We reckon he had got one of those little hero headcams so was able to do the running comentry as he worked so was telling Mr Kandy about the tyre tread depth and all the other stuff he was checking before we got the work sheet.I haven’t heard of any day ther garage doing this so it must just be KIA:biggrin: PS The car passed its MOT ok with just an advisory on a couple of points but nothing to worry about for a couple of months:smile:

My moan is that something doesn’t seem to be right with our telly at the moment because a lot of the channels I am trying to access when there is nothing decent on the proper channels but keep getting this signal and despite checking the Antenna connections and anything else we can think of it is a bit annoying so if anyone can suggest something else we could try I would be most greatful...Thanks:smile:

Don't forget if car fails MOT on a Major you can't drive it away even if the mot hasn't ran out, you have to take it away on a trailor

No, It's the lines,as we are a long way from the exchange and cables run in ditches which get driven into by heavy vehicals, the last time we had problems the line (wire) had 10 faults on it so the BT guy put us onto a new wire and we got 6 Mb/s :yahoo: but as sayed the line gets a hammering here
