Bimbling around the back garden today - picking at weeds and watering when I came across what looked like a tuber on the top of the soil near the Night Scented Stock. How strange, I thought, look there's another.

Upon closer examination, I recalled recently seeing a cat :cat-kittyandsmiley:in the garden.

Good job I always wear gloves...eewwww

      Dear Sir,

This morning, January 1st, in my flower bed, I came upon a flat black disc with a hole in the centre.
      Is this a record ?

DSC_0010.JPG Has anyone worked out how you get these out of the plastic wrapper.
I'm bleeding all over the place and there is no way I can part the two halves of the packaging, I've tried cutting it as close to the actual plaster as possible but it sticks like glue.

I did eventually manage to part the two halves and then I couldn't put the plastic in the bin, it was so full of static it was stuck to my fingers.

What kind of idiot comes up with this kind of packaging.

Wow, I haven't heard the word Bimbling in forever! T'other Half who is word knowledgeable has never heard it (but he is American) so he said he learned a new word today. :dbgrtmb:

I find lots of "modern" stuff useless to access.  :rolleyespink:  I put it down to aging and long fingernails. :heehee:

Hope you are okay Pete. :fingers crossed:

When we got all pernickety about everything being sterile, cant seem to find the stuff you cut off a roll anymore.
What the idiots dont seem to realise is you have to put your thumb on the bit in the middle in order to peal off the bits on the sticky stuff.

Most places wont accept that kind of stuff, you have to invent stupid passwords with %$*&7746A a F and all that kind of stuff.
And then you know you will never remember them so you get the browser to remember them for you.
Which kind of defeats the object.
If they cant come up with anything better than silly passwords after all this time maybe technology needs a kick up the bum.

That's what I used to buy but dont see it in the shops now..

Yeah dont like to put that straight across the cut as you open up the cut taking it off, I have got elastoplast sticky tape which sticks like the proverbial to a blanket, but same problem if you just put that over it.

We have the ones which comes in, cut to size strips and on the roll in our first aid box. The one on the roll is only to secure a dressing, its not to be put over an open wound. We get ours through a trade supplier but you can get them at Superdrug, think I have seen them in wilko's as well.
