The reason why men pee anywhere and women don't is simple - men can just unzip and stand there whilst women have to lift skirts and drop knickers or drop trousers and knickers and then squat down. So much for gender equality

 

I sometimes see golfers (male) hiding behind a tree to spend a penny - but their back is towards our back garden. We can see you!

I have to admit to perfecting perching on the car door sill with both doors open and no-one can see anything except two legs. Hubby keeps an eye open for further cars wanting to park. This would be in a remote area lay by where you can't get into the undergrowth.

 

@Philippa I've often said to OH that there's a design fault when I have to trek up the garden to go to the loo and he can just pee on a compost heap.

 

Standing or squatting, the whole world knows what is happening. Urination in public is disgusting whether you stand or squat.

 

I'd love to know where people are finding public loo's if they expect others to go there, it certainly isn't around here. There is also the fact that quite a few seem to charge now as well.

You need to be careful peeing in a layby as well because I remember a recent news article where someone with bladder problems was given a hefty fine for doing so, even though they were discreet.

I once worked with a chap who was on the way home with his sister when she needed to go and so people weren't looking at her, he just faced the traffic and pee'd away. It's also quite common to see some of the old folk with their back to you, filling a water can, down the allotment. It seems to help the compost at least.

 

Since covid was used as an excuse to close most public toilets what are people supposed to do.
If you are a delivery person I'm not sure what you are expected to do, carry a bottle of some kind perhaps as if you should happen to find the odd public toilet that hasn't been shut you are very unlikely to be able to park outside, or even anywhere near.

 

Luckily here, unless you are in the middle of nowhere, there's a Tim Horton's every 5 kilometers. I buy a donut or a bottle of soda after I use their facilities as a small way of trying to compensate them for accommodating me.

I can "hold it" a long time and luckily am not forced to do it often.

They say that, "just in case" pee before you leave the house is bad for you but I won't drop that habit!

 

At my age there are four or five “just in case” pees before I go to the shops.

Anyway, yesturday i've seen a young guy who walks had a look at some wild flowers very near by to pee spot, he then grabs the leaves to get the smell onto his hand to sniff so be carefull out in the countryside sniffing flowers!!!!!

 

Peeing is bad enough but there was an article recently about a delivery driver who was sacked after being caught on camera taking a dump in the stairwell of a block of flats!

 

Lots of plants have always smelt like cats pee to me, now I know why.

Apparently, lots of delivery drivers use a plastic bag for, erm, solid deposits ... and then chuck it out the window, or, occasionally, accidentally deliver it with other goods. Maybe dog waste bins would be a better option for disposal.

 

The slang for pee in a bottle, normally found in a hedge or by the roadside is "truckers tizer".
