Just seen a post on facebook saying the police will be out in a certain area tonight targeting anti social behaviour, I guess by publicising the fact they can ensure themselves of a trouble free night.:roflol:

      Are these people real.

It is quieter here since Flybe went bust. The noise used to vibrate in your head early in the morning, even with earplugs in. And they carried so few people.

Last night fireworks were being let off somewhere at 12.30am.

Otherwise people in suburbia here are quite quiet. Come 6pm they are all inside watching the news. And they go to bed early.

You really do have to wonder if Plod actually has any brain cells at times, and they are all university graduates these days in charge.

I don't think Plod has enough bodies and any ruse that keeps the idiots, loons and ASBO types off the street has to be good surely? Unless they just move it elsewhere and some other plod gets to deal with all the abuse, missiles, vomit and paperwork. Not my idea of fun.

Strange plod is always able to find man power when it comes to making money, like going 1 mph over the speed limit.

I assume those responsible will read the warning and stay off the streets for one night.

Surely the idea is to catch them in the act and deal with them, just warning them off for one night is a pointless exercise.

I'm just reading of people who have got parking tickets timed as 23.30hrs, now its strange that we have enough bods to go round issuing parking tickets in the middle of the night.

I assume they are on double time.
            Or double yellows.

I thought parking tickets were the demain of traffic wardens in the UK and they're on a bonus for hitting targets.

These days they don't need bods; just a camera and software to read your number plate.
They read you in and read you out and the computer then issues a ticket, if required, untouched by the human hand.

This is down the back streets of the town in residential areas apparently, they have a purge every now and then, try to catch the residents that have paid for residents parking but cant find a spot, so they park on double yellow lines, which seem to be increasing as time goes by, but they still keep issuing more and more residents parking permits.

Resident Parking permits are one of the biggest cons out there. Charged for the right to park, but no certainty that there will be space to park.

How come the BBC mentions climate change in every sentence ... except when they are bigging up the arms industry and trying to force public opinion in favour of warmongering?
