I find most sentencing by judges a bit iffy, but often there are circumstances that come out that we dont hear about, having said that judges are a law unto themselves and rarely get ticked off.

I agree we don't know everything but the judge also stipulated she must serve at least two thirds of her sentence. Yet, violent offenders are getting out after a third in some cases.

 

Probably hoping she will be too old to have any more kids when she gets out.

It isn't as easy as many people think it is. Also, if you've never been coerced, bullied, threatened and/or manipulated by a partner that supposedly loves you, it's also easy to overlook the circumstances of that woman's situation. I'm not defending her as such, I'm just saying it's easy to judge.
