Hi, i recently bought a house with a slightly overgrown leylandii hedge. I've trimmed it back but ended up with a couple of bald patches. Would it be possible to cover these up with some sort of climbing plant such as ivy?

Good evening Nick and welcome to the site. I wouldn`t use Ivy, I`d use a Clematis montana.:dbgrtmb:

    C. montana and its allies would be a better substitute.
