      Ash deserve respite for being potential turned handles for future or previously broken garden tools.Valued as walking sticks too.

          I'm not weeding out ash & sycamore for any amount of money these days, sorry!
          Fortunately there aren't any nearby here to drop seeds all over, and the birds don't seem to bring them (just brambles and something prunus-ish)

          Edit: mind you, at 10p a seedling it could be easy money if they're little 'uns - do you pay travel and accommodation expenses? A trip to Somerset might be nice :)
