Thank you Gail, all my cables will be hidden in the unit as mentioned no need for anything like that the unit is good enough once i put a false back in it :dbgrtmb:,

We have a nice deep unit for the wife's TV and not a cable in sight its nice and tidy :).

Right @martin-f you have it rigged for it's usage where as ours we don't and my step son goes made at what we've got and never touch the advanced options of it's usage...he's young though :heehee:

Hi @Doghouse Riley it's funny you on about games you had in your rooms, it can't be as bad as this years back when I lived on my own, the neighbour above loved is snooker and he slept in the living room but had a large snooker table in the bedroom...fancy being kept awake half the night with balls hitting the floor [IMG]one night I knocked his door at 2am and he wouldn't answer :dunno:

@martin-f It got to me mate in the end not replying to me by door or ceiling, so I played him at his own games...while he was sleeping by day my tele was at it's loudest and that's not me as a rule, it got to him in the end and there was a lot of involvement with his mother etc but in the end he did move out but the life I had just because he wouldn't speak face to face...madness mate :)

Re-framed one of my wife's favorite prints this afternoon,

The 4th Suffolks at Neuve Chapelle, 11 March 1915 - the men are waiting for the order to attack the Bois de Biège

I need to pick some nice picture frame hangers up Monday, i have another one to re-frame for her you can just see it behind the first picture.

That is one very moving scene.

Isn't it interesting how changing the frame has changed the perspective? In the first picture, it looks rectangular and once re-framed it is more square.

                        Lovely work, as always

The other thing (which struck my imagination, at least) is how the knots in the wood of the frame could almost be interpreted as bullet holes! Yes, I have a vivid imagination at times

They do @"M" if you do look in that way, I didn't at first knowing they was knots in the wood...sometimes to see things you have to look from another person's view :dbgrtmb:

                              Thanks Gail and M,

When working with wood doing something like this you always try and show knots, you purposely cut wood that's seen in a way the knots can be seen obviously without wasting too much,

When i fetched the wood for the ceiling i looked though about 50 lengths to pick 16, i chose the ones with the most Knots,

I never looked at the knots like bullet holes but now you mention it they certainly do,

While making the other one, one of the knots come out and thought of your post and thought a proper bullet hole, ive left it it adds character.
