I sympathise Longk. :ouch1: Also about the needles too. My son fears needles and can't stand the sight of blood either, he just passes out. Unfortunately he has to have his four wisdom teeth taken out at the end of next week, so he's opted for a general anaesthetic. What's more he has to pay for the 'pleasure' he lives in America now!

I hope your face feels better soon. :)

        Thanks again all. :ThankYou:

Ziggy, thank Willow for me please. That's one cool looking duck! :dbgrtmb:

Jack, I'm definitely not related to David Dickinson.......perish the thought! :)

I'm feeling better today, the throbbing's stopped but still a little sore. The dentist had to cut part of my gum away too. :ouch1: Back there in a week for the crown.

I think Longk needs a share of my sympathy too. :)

Julie had to have that done several years ago it is a general anesthetic anyway ONLY WAY
End result looked like she had done ten rounds with Henry Cooper
Could he not pop back over and have the NHS do it for him ?

I well know what she must have looked like Jack I sympathise. I had to have two impacted wisdom teeth out many years ago. My head looked like it had been used as a football after.

Unfortunately it would cost my son three times the amount to come back and have it done here. :thud:

I'm OK with blood. It's just needles - I get a real physical panic attack! It's really embarrassing:runforhills:

Unfortunately, I had to pay for the pleasure too:cry3:

I'm ok with stuff going in with needles, I tend to nearly pass out if stuff is coming out thru them though, again, embarrassing:redface:

Messed up at the chemists a few years back, the docs had run out of Flu vaccine & gave me a prescription to take to the chemists opposite.
They handed me a vial complete with a needle & syringe.

I asked if I do it intravienously or intramuscular? They looked at me far out and said "No, you take it back across the road & let the Nurse do it"

Well, how was I to know:what::doh:

What you lads need is pregnancy! :loll:That'll cure your fear of needles and blood. :snork:

I had eight phials taken on Thursday after a failed attempt to find a vein with a needle. It doesn't bother me any more. At a guess, more than a hundred phials have been taken from me for testing in the last 3 1/2 years and still counting.

It takes a lot to keep Dracula ticking over. :heehee:

Ziggy, that would take a miracle at my age! :snork:

No, I'm saying the stork should visit you fella's. Along with pregnancy come the routine blood tests. It would probably cure the phobia's. :)
