loving my job

As many of you know I was and have been ill but am Certainly on the mend I'm a workaholic and love it as long as I like what I'm doing 3 nights a week I drive a150 ton shipping crane then week ends not all week ends but as many as poss I do boxing shows I met a boxing promoter visiting some one in hospital and the bloke took to said I had the gift of the gab and would I consider working for him for big bog rolls of cash lol
I said it sounds like a job I'd do voluntary I'd love that I did 3 shows and got a aprouched by another promoter to his show bingo all went well Got another show on my bill
Now the next bit is insane to the max
I got a call 2 weeks ago to do a stand in job at a 4**** hotel champagne reception English and British title fights on the bill
I asked what's happened to your compare at such short notice?? Took ill
I said who normally does your shows sir??
He said the guy off the TV show homes under the hammer gullp
I said listen mate I can not live up the standards of a bloke off the TV I'm just your average back street kid off the blok but will do my best and grantee you a wicked night black country style at the end of the night the promoter offerd me a 12 month fight contract Best seat in the house with the ring girls and medics and time keeper happy days I just love both my jobs now this is madder then mad I was in a nut house that's what they call them round here NO Offence to any one I was treated for depression right place at the right time God bless and thank you Lord for my chances in life to achieve and reach my goals for not drinking or taking drugs 1 day at a time
