Lupins leaf problems

    Hi
    my lupin leaves look like they have bee sprayed with a weak solution of milk .
    Someone suggested spraying with washing up liquid diluted
    anyone have any ideas of cause and remedy

    mine are like that but i have been putting the ashes from my bbqs around them to stop slugs so i figured it was that or because of the hard water in this area:scratch: or volcanic ash :heehee:..the new top leaves seem to be ok thou and its flowering x[​IMG][​IMG]
