Same way as the foam (emptying the bottle out in between). Stage one is douse with Polar Foam using a foam lance (mine is like this one, then wash with bucket/sponge, then rinse with pressure washer, finally put a small amount of the Polar Shine into the foam lance (it takes about 20ml, and some warm water), spray it at the car apart from the windscreen and dry.

I only wash once a week, because of all the poo and dust here it doesn't take long to get dirty again, so only quick washes

Better keep your distance then :heehee:

On a serious note, we live on a dirt track that the tractor to's and fro's on so ours only gets washed when we go out. When I washed the car, I hosed it every day but T'other Haf doesn't.

I meant to respond to this earlier and got really busy, sorry Mike. For those vehicles eligible for the MOT extension, the DVLA have already applied the full extension to the vehicle's record and their database that feeds the ANPR cameras has been updated accordingly - here is mine as it stands:

            MOT.png

As the vehicle was registered on 28th June 2017, it's first MOT should have been 28th June this year, but as you can see it is showing as valid until 27th December. I won't leave it that long (who wants an MOT due around Christmas!) and will most likely get something sorted early August when I can speak to my MOT guy.

Rossello Red - apparently that colour is a £2k option!

When I bought my car the only 'colour' that didn't cost extra was white. All others were between £750 and £1,500. :rolleyespink: I managed to persuade them that they wanted to give me a £750 version for a discount of £750 :heehee:

That car really caught me out, and I only found out when I went to tax it...... we went for it on the basis of the colour, the interior and the spec which was just fantastic. What I didn't know was that it was near on top of the range and quite well loaded, to the tune of £53k when it was new!
