 I decided to bite the bullet & get the biggest tunnel I could for my new plot of land.. 25ft x 14ft..
I have just bought one of these with double doors at either end..
    http://www.premierpolytunnels.co.uk/product-details.asp?prod_id=47&level_id=13&level=2

I have upgraded where I can too.. Yes a bit dearer maybe but it is the largest diameter tubing I could find as to me that was important as it is a bit exposed there.. My friend is having my little old tunnel & this will go over the top of the area as this one is as wide as the old one was long.! ;)

    Watch this space......

You will enjoy it when it is rainy and windy outside and you have your little cosy jungle.

Well in my small tunnel now I have broad beans, cabbage, cauli, artichokes, shallots, strawberries & garlic all growing happily at present... So when the new tunnel goes up those will be across the bottom but as I harvest them I will get my ground back... Waiting in the wings in my greenhouse, I have runner beans, french beans, peas, toms peppers, courgettes, sweetcorn & sal stuff all waiting to go into the new tunnel.....

That's a great size Marley and in particular the height of nearly 8ft is going to give you plenty of scope for growing things, even at a foot in from the sides it's 5ft tall..very impressive!!

Have you opted for crop bars too? They will be very handy.

            Steve...:)

Ooh isn't it just Steve.. I cant wait for it to arrive now & get it up as I have so much stuff waiting to go into it..!!
No I didn't go for crop bars this time as I ordered the triple ridge kit instead.. They work as crop bars & if I still feel I need some I will get them.. ;)

Looks great MF, decidedly green. I've been struggling with no greenhouse since the small 1 which was here when we bought the house went west a couple of winters ago. I have a sort of summerhouse thing which works so so but it has a solid roof so plants tend to get leggy if in it too long.Agree it's amazing how much space you need. At my last house I had a greenhouse which was 9ft x 14ft and that was stuffed full. Look forward to some photos when you new "baby" is up, you'll never want to be outside again!
