Moon Images Only

No where near as good as Armandii's shots but not bad for a bridge camera.

 

Thanks Armandii. The problem with this camera is getting it set up on the tripod. By the time I've zoomed in, focused and adjusted the tripod, the blasted camera turns itself off thinking there are no shots being taken. I then have to start the set-up again. Although I haven't tried it perhaps it's worth taking a shot (of nothing) every couple of minutes just to keep it from shutting down.

 

Thanks Armandii. Now why didn't I think of that, stoopid woman! It just hadn't occurred to me to check the camera settings.

 

@Sheal You can put the setting for moon shots in the customise option and just go to it after putting it on the tripod. Most bridge cameras have 'Custom' on the mode dial.

 

I took these moon photos early morning on January 1st but as there was a lot of cloud around it was very difficult getting a good shot.Pity though that the camera picked up on the tree branches or was it the moonand didn’t allow the photo to come clear and it isn’t easy when you have to stand on one foot

 

@Sheal That's a good capture mate ...nobody will get shots like ARMANDII unless you have the proper equipment but that's still an excellent close up

No @Gail_68 it's the smaller of my two cameras with a prime (fixed) lens but it has a good zoom.
