    Apparently my Dad went up and carried me out of bed..I was onny 4 1/5 years old and woke my brother up too and propped us up infront of the telly...I remember nothing of it but he really didn't want us to miss it..

        In my case...sitting in exactly the same spot that I was when JFK was shot, and just a few feet -four perhaps - away from the exact spot in which I was born!

          I remember sitting huddled around the black and white TV, curtains pulled to keep out the sun, I think daytime TV was not that normal then.
          My last 7 week summer holiday from school.

            I was at RAF West Raynham in Norfolk and watched it through out the night on the TV while on Fire Piquet.:heehee:
