I have a lime coloured conifer the sort that is always in Morrisons. It is 8ft tall and I want to move it. Is this easy and is it OK to do it now?

I'm no expert but I'd say its the wrong time of year and if its already 8ft the roots are going to be enormous! Maybe if you give it a really good soaking and slice down with the spade all around maintaining a large amount of root it MIGHT live, but I'd do it in autumn then move early next spring.

No don't move it now, leave it until the Autumn, ideally late Oct - March, and then like Loofah says you must try to get as big a root ball out as possible.
