How one cold night can change things,..from this.

    To this.

I moved the Peruvian Lily to just outside my back door,..there was just one fading bloom,..now its picked up with three blooms and more buds.
    c.jpg

I collected some wild yellow Flag Iris seed pods,..6 pods,..the seeds shown came from just one pod.

All the seeds from 6 pods.

Another Hosta change,..still a pretty sight.

I like the way Hosta leaves change in the autumn.
Are you going to sow all those flag seeds ? You'll have a bright yellow show in time :)

Hi Michael,..i had images of a big splash of yellow :),..though the blooms don't last very long,..i might sow just one pod full of seeds and that is quite a lot,..some Flag Iris i started two years ago in a builders rubble container have multiplied threefold,..nice blooms when its for free from the wild :)

Heath Asters in the small front garden.

All in the back garden below,..these Asters were found in the wild and grow in abundance in just two locations.

The Asters are very pretty. I especially like the blue ones. I am going to attempt Swan River Daisies again.

The Asters are very pretty, I like the colour of the last ones ... but I also got some from the wild years ago (I didn't think they were native wild flowers, just wandered from someone's garden) and they overtook the place, I had to get rid of them. They were really pretty though.

There are wild Flags growing up the road from me, I may collect a few seeds next year and see if I can grow them.

The bloom on the Swan River Daisies is similar in appearance to my Heath Asters,..the Swan River Daisies really thrive in a cooler condition,..but they do look beautiful.

My blue Asters are just starting to bloom and i am watching them increase by the day :)

I can well understand you getting rid of yours collected from the wild,..they do spread,..ideal for my small front garden though as they will be trapped in there,..however they are in two locations in the back garden,..yep i agree they probably escaped from some garden into the wild as they have only started growing in the wild here in just two locations,..i wish that the blue asters were as fertile,..they were given to me over 19 years ago but tend to fade away then return for a spell,..never increasing very much.

Foxy Molly looks ready for a good sleep  Who is her friend (if he's a real dog, he looks real)

I agree about the Cotinus leaves, they make rain drops look like glass beads, it's the same on mine.

Lovely colour on those Asters. The Cotoneaster bush looks huge !

I'm sorry about your injury. I hope you'll be better soon, and I suppose Foxy Molly does too. It doesn't do to lift heavy things, but if you're like me you only realise how heavy they are when it's too late.

I empathise with you Philip. Sometimes my legs don't belong to me. I have a walker and elbow canes. Jim has a back support and a waist support which he needs almost daily when he sits upright or doing things like watering. Age brings us all kinds of challenges to keep us alert.

Pleased you have someone to walk Foxy Molly although 15 Euros seems a little high. At least cats can exercise themselves.

                                Take care. Sending :imphrt: Vxx

PS Flowers look gorgeous as always.
