I would like a Photinia but I didn't think they would suit here, ie, not go red. But then last week I read that April was the month to trim them here. I thought they need it cooler. My Nandina Fire Power did not turn red, well only half a dozen leaves started to change.

The Clivia are gorgeous .. I MAY try again.

Its amazing the difference your climate has on plants and shrubs,..however i would prefer your climate due to the fantastic blooms you get,..i could send you a 'Clivia Minata' bulb as i have five in all,..in two pots,..in one pot there are two growing in the hallway,..the other pot has three growing in the sitting room,..all of them get enough sun to keep them ever green and bloom,..if i remember correctly,.. they are a forest plant,..therefore would not get full sun,..i see @Michael Hewett has his starting to bloom,..are they inside or outdoors?.

My Clivia is inside, and it has died back a bit this year, I think I need to repot it.

Nice to see you have Cowslips, I tried them once but had no success, yet they grow wild in the hedgerows around here.

                      Lovely colour on the Wallflower.

It's difficult to tell what that shoot is. I find Clematis are usually easy to move.

I wouldn't say no to a Clivia bulb. :love30: :imphrt:
I am not sure that is a Clematis shoot ... but that is where you planted it?
Just love that hybrid colour of the wallflower, very unique.

Hi Victoria,..ah yes i removed the wrong plant,..however i am watching and hoping that Clematis will appear above the surface then i will have another go to rescue it,..what ever the supposed plant i thought to be a Clematis is growing fine,..looks like a type of Lily :dunno:.

I will be preparing your Clivia minata bulb tomorrow and will let you know when i post it :)
