Hi Upsydaisy,..thank you for the link,..yep mine is a Toad from the description given,..to add to my confusion there is another croaker in the garden as spotted today,..no lumps or bumps on this one so it appears to be a frog,..its the first time in the 18 years i have had this garden to have croakers in the garden,..i am still trying to figure out where they came from,..as i mentioned there are no drains or ponds anywhere near the house? :dunno:

The garden certainly didn't miss me,..it just carried along its own way,..granted there are a few weeds but thankfully not a sign of a Slug or Snail.

Hi Vicky,..a good question about the Clivia blooming,..mine never had any particular season for blooming,..two of mine have already bloomed but a third one isn't showing any sign of presenting a bloom,..yours being in a warmer climate might encourage it to bloom,..the foliage on the ones in my sitting room are 90Cm =1 Metre=1 Yard=3 Foot long :) :dunno:
