    Oh my god that is utterly awful @glengarry23 . I hope the perpetrator was apprehended and charge accordingly. The Police and the RSPCA should definitely have been notified.
    That is so heart breaking.:sad::cry3:

      I thoroughly enjoyed that video of your precious fur babies, Philip. We love cats and many have owned us for the nearly 52 years we have been together. They have so many fine qualities ... wash themselves, do not need to be walked, are soft and cuddly and in our experience have always loved my gardens and never destroyed them. I have had dogs come into my garden and p*ss on shrubs!!!

      My sister has Siamese cats in Germany and a neighbour attempted to poison them so she only let them out on leads thereafter. Thank you for sharing your beautiful family. :cat-kittyandsmiley:

                We had Frost this past two nights with the car roof iced up in the morning but sunny all day today.

                When a cold Cat comes home 'Whisper' knows the warm spot.

                  Seeing as you appear to be a "Cat Man", Gg. this is my surviving cat, as I lost the other last year. This one is Jenny, who was my Brother's cat, he lived on a Farm and so she was a bit wild. He gave her to me when he fell ill, and she loved the garden and stayed mainly in it loving the Jungle of the Cottage style garden. When Sally died Jenny changed from always being in the garden to being my Shadow, but she still likes a patrol in the garden, and you can see by the look on her face that she has "attitude":heehee:

                  This is Sally, who, who died last year and now rests by her favourite seat in the garden. I'm not ashamed to say I cried like a baby when I lost her.

                    @ARMANDII ,..lol at ''Cat Man''.

                    Jenny has unusual colour markings,..some ginger in there,..she has a stern look on her face but a beautiful Cat,..its nice to see she has become your shadow after Sally passed away,.. they do badly miss a companion Cat and one can see the change in the remaining Cat,..oh i can relate to how you were after Sally passed away as even now i bite my lip when looking at my Cat Videos remembering each personality they had.

                    Philip

                        It can be a long project growing a rose bush from a seed,..waiting for the Rose Hip to mature,..placing the seeds on moist kitchen towel within a sealed plastic bag,..then as they sit in the Fridge waiting for sign of the seeds to show life,..weeks later one gets a few results.

                        However one can be lucky,..when Autumn and Winter has passed,..look below your Rose Bushes in early Spring to see did any of your fallen Rose Hips open showing a wee green leaf,..they have gone through the proceedings one takes when growing in the Fridge,..except they grew natural,..you could be lucky,..one of mine below,..its now around 2 Metres high.

                            Spanish Bayonet 'Yucca aloifolia',..i have two of these growing in the garden but the one in the picture developed a hole midway up,..big enough to insert my fist,.. leaving very little of the tree supporting itself,..everyone maintained it would fall when the strong winds arrived as it would be top heavy.
                            DSC00008.JPG

                            Then i remembered reading about the tree in the image below in 'Kew Gardens, London,.. being supported by metal bands and a wall,.. also that part of the trunk had rotted and it was filled in saving the tree.
                            2019-03-24_005338.png

                            So i filled in the hole with Domestic Foam Filler which hardens,..covering the hole with Coconut Tree Fiber and giving it help with a wire support,..several years have passed and the tree is doing very well,..oh Cement was not recommended.

                            The visit to Kew Gardens.
