    @CarolineL how do you manage to have a peach tree that doesn't have peach leaf curl? Wonderful specimen and even fruit! Brilliant. We have had 2 and the first one died years ago but did give us fruit. The 2nd one though just had curl from day one and no fruit. It is now nearly 12 years old. Decided 2 years ago to grow a clematis alpina up it and it looks great.

    Oh it has peach leaf curl @On the Levels ! But the last couple of years I have given it a spray of fungicide just before bud break, and I'm ruthless about disposing of the infected leaves even if it looks a bit bald afterwards. They go in my metal incinerator which is only for that and Japanese knotweed. I seem to be winning (a bit). Unfortunately although it has fruit, they seem to be a bit scarred - I wonder if the very non-Welsh dry spring affected them.
