New hospital opening soon.

The Staff have been informed "there will be no Crash Team"
the team ,consisting of an Anesthetist, Cardiologist,and General medical staff,
should consist of around 5 to 6 personnel.
there will be no crash team till 2011 :(. The Nurses have been instructed to dial 999
for Paramedics in the case of an emergency !!!. as far as i know the nurses have portable defibrillators which in no way has the efficiency of a crash team for saving life!!. it is all down to cutting costs,it seems to me people do not matter as long as costs are on target. the hospitals should cut down the number of so called Managers(Top Heavy) and all the expense that goes along with their offices etc.
this will save (Real Money )and allow more specialists to be( Hands on) and saving life which hospitals are for. Imagine a Cardiac arrest happening at night, the hospital
is low on staff,( i mean real hands on staff ) this Nurse could be on her/his own
rushing for this portable defibrillator,trying to phone for paramedics, and care for the patient at the same time . its an absolute Nightmare :(.
This is one Hospital i will try to avoid!!! Lots of life in the old sea dog yet :wink:
