Ahh, yes I see the feature, so you would probably have to do that by having a large overlay of liner in that area, to go right into whatever it is under the lid of that thing.
Either that or another piece of liner overlayed running into the pond.

I just think back filling would allow the liner to fit better but its probably not essential, you could put large folds in the liner at the corners.

    As to fixing the sleepers?
Are they fixed to the ground?
Are they fixed together at the corners?

I also now see why you want the water level to be one sleeper lower.

The. Bottom sleepers are fixed to the ground and also have 8 inch torx screws.
The other sleepers on top are screwed with 6 inch torx screws

But I would still put the liner to the top of the sleepers then top it off with something like decking.

You then have a choice how full you fill it.

Hi you are giving me ideas. I could use sleepers from veg box so wife can reach it. To take pond up another level so in total 5 layer high depth 29 inch x 6 x 5 foot.put extra layer on. Sort out liner. Fill up and wait to settle put decking on top of liner / sleepers. Then with back top sleeper cut. Out. Gap for. Water blade feature put decking. Across top of blade feature.
All this said. Now I am thinking about. Plants inside the pond due to depth and possible algae issues
        Thanks

hi i have been looking around for decking to finish top of pond of but the sleepers are just under 6 inch 152.4 mm if i was to have approx 1 inch over hang with decking it would be 7 inch wide 177.8 mm , the decking only seems to be 120 mm upto 140 mm wide so abit stumped on where to find decking that is about 177.8 mm
            thanks

Can you get it ripped down, do it in two pieces and get someone to cut it down lengthwise.

Have an inch overhang on either side = 200mm roughly so get some 120wide and have them rip it down to 100mm.

Cant you buy it locally from a saw mill?
It would be a small order admittedly so it might cost a bit, other than that buy a new hard point saw and use one piece of 120mm wide and cut another four lengths at 80mm.

Most decking has grooves, so you can follow the grooves with your saw.

Thanks for your reply. Would. I have to put on corner brace. On corners for more support it's just I was watching a video on YouTube. But it was. Not in the UK just thinking.

With the. Underlay would it have. To go all inside of. Pond including up inside sleepers. If so what thickness to get.

And about liner how thick should it be.for the pond

With water feature what size of blade would be. Suitable for a 6 x 5 foot pond or is it just a opinion on size

              Thank you

hi i am thinking of the possible decking on the top of the sleepers to finish it off , how with decking it dont come to the right size for the top of the sleepers so i was thinking of something like this
                Green - Rough Sawn Treated Timber (8" x 1")
it will give me 1 inch over hang on both sides but will it be ok for the top of the pond
                thanks for your advice

Only thing that worries me is what treatment it has had.
I'm thinking it will be ok but there is a slight thought that the preservative might not be friendly to pond animals.
Once weathered I would imagine I would be fine.
