    Hi there,

Thanks for adding me into the forum. First time gardener here, taken up refreshing my garden due to Covid lockdown and seeking advice - that and my grandad was an avid gardener when I was a youth.

I've uploaded 3 images which I wanted help with. The things I'm looking for are:

    1. Plants or seeds recommended that will come back each year or continue to grow/ develop.
    2. Ideally with flowers/ colour to brighten up what is a relatively drab space.
    3. Things that won't cost the earth.
These don't have to provide instant results.

For the front, i've dug out a troublesome area of grass which was incredibly patchy, would you put a tree in there or a bush? It gets full sun exposure from noon.

For the rear, can you recommend any climbing plants? Looking to cover the drab fencing where possible. Full sun area.

For the borders, again, looking to refresh life into these area but not looking to have to replant every year here.

Appreciate it is a lot of questions, the main things I guess are colour, longevity and budget.

Also, if there are any tips on generic soil/ compost to use and any online sites still delivering the things we need, that would be fantastic if you can point me in the right direction.

    Cheers,
    Ric
