Night driving

@longk you'd be surprised (or not ) at the number of boy-racers with older Clios etc that have higher-wattage super-duper bulbs then start crying when the garage bill comes through after they've fried everything. I try not to be too amused...

 

Lot of petrol driving around car parks trying to find a Clio that still had them?

Not! Clios were quite happy to melt the actual fuseboard circuitry itself without any outside interference!

 

Do you carry a rag with you everywhere you go like I do? Being a proper Volvo driver its quite important. Its just in case you have to wipe another car off your front number plate.

Re M.O.T.s 2 years ago my car went in for it's test,it failed ,why .Because the back seat belt was trapped under the seat,whet the char who took it in for me went to pick it up,he said O.K. i'll do it now while I'm here. Sorry you can't you must take it back to your place,do it there then come back for a re-test.he drove round the corner undid the seat ,took out the belt ,went back ,tester said that's fine it's past

 

Had a car right behind me last night on the way home, he had those annoying blue lights that dazzle in your mirrors.
I slowed right down and let him overtake me.

It was a virtually brand new Mercedes, I doubt he had fiddled with his bulbs.
