        That's a nice one Pete, how long do the flowers last?

        I see you still have a Puya, sadly I lost mine (a gift from Eric/Walnut) in the winter.

        Hi strongy, the flowers last quite well, its been flowering since April, some of the other seedlings dont flower as well, and some are yet to flower.:)

        But I'll continue growing them as they have a large caudex forming.

        The plant to the right is a Dyckia frigida courtesy of Tropical Gaz.

        It looked like my deceased Puya! my Dyckia is more silvery grey than yours and is still in flower but I can't say I am impressed with it.

        Not a plant I know much about strongy.
        But its survived the last two winters with a bit of protection.

        Never grown Puyas, but I think the flowers are probably a lot more interesting.
