    That Avocado looks very happy Anthony! I've read online that there are a couple of plants outside in parts of London which fruit in this country (whether they ripen though...) I suppose like some tender plants they get slightly hardier once they are older... I've also read that once they have a few leaves you should chop them in half to encourage them to grow bushy rather than tall and lanky

    Yeah, I agree about the ripening aspect.

    I've read that it's best to pinch out the growing tip when they're about 18" high as that will keep them shorter and bushier. Ours is now about 12" high and is already showing signs of side shoots breaking, so will probably be pinched around about May/June.

          Anthony - I have never seen a Crassula flower before, despite growing one for several years. :thumbsup:

          Neither have I Pete, and this isn't even an old one. It's about two years old and eight inches high.
