    It was posted on a sea fishing forum, but then deleted after re-posting/before next visiting (still haven't seen him there since then BTW).

        No, it's an incredibly tame (or rather not frightened) young gull at Charmouth by the new bridge by the discharge pipe at the edge of the long stay car park.

        I've never seen one so 'friendly'/fearless that it would be hand fed

            We get baby jackdaws come tumbling down from rooftop nests into our garden and wanting to be our friends. Many years ago my SIL 'befriended' one which would follow her to school and dive bomb her teachers.

            P.S. Is this thread going bit a off topic?
