I would imagine some of us are going to our local garden shows and some of the biggies (Chelsea, Hampton Court, etc) just wondered what people thought about either a meet up at a certain time just to say "Hello" or wearing a certain flower on your lapel so you would know a fellow GC we could point each other in the direction of things that have caught the eye instead of waiting till we get back and saying "did you see that "on here.
    What do you think????

It's a nice idea, GS! What flower do you suggest?? I think most of the shows are a bit early for the malva / lavatera flower that's at the top of the GC page....

A red carnation of course and have a code word. Or we could all wear something eye-catching like orange trousers/skirts. :D

Why don't we just make a nice GC badge?!! Individuals all print out their usual avatar pic, and use that!

Although I would not be able to take part in such hilarity, it sounds great. Fantastic idea Garden sponge.

I like dendro's idea of a badge with your avatar ... or woo's tee shirt ... of course, if you are the type who change your avatar on a regular basis then this could cause a problem!

Obviously you will all have your cameras with you for reasons other than flower/plant taking?

    I shall follow this thread.
