Hi there, just asking for advice on my oriental lillies. I have 4 ( 2 outside and 2 indoors), both look the same.

Its mainly foilage and very very tiny buds that just aren't growing ( maybe slow motion), these have been planted in march. I keep these in a sunny hot window, water every 2-3 days ( keep moist). Any ideas why its taking so long?
    Or tips please.

    Appreciate it thanks

    Hello jassoi :)
I think your pots are too small....prob bit late for this year now to make a difference though.
    Have you fed them?
    However, they should still flower
I would have them all outside now :)

I'm looking at those buds and wondering if they are actually bulbils?

Yes, I thought they were bulbils because they are in the leaf axils and are very brown.

Deffo bulbils. Pot them up when you can remove them with the minimum of effort and grow of. They take about two to three years to reach blooming size.
Also, if I grow lilies in pots I use deep pots so that they can be planted deeper.
