Moving? oh gosh, I am surprised but sometimes these things have to happen. I think, just when we get our gardens the way we want them - we move..

Well it'll be a lovely place for someone else to take over, and hopefully you'll be able to start again, meanwhile we continue to enjoy what you've created..

Well I’m hopeful that I won’t be, but there’s a possibility that circumstances might make it unavoidable.

      Munstead Wood.
      Now 3 years old.

I grew it in a pot for the first year, then transplanted to cottage bed. It's growth (or lack of) has been much the same. It's never really gained much stature and is still a bit awkward in habit, but all is forgiven for the bloom form, colour and fragrance. Foliage is noticeably healthy and unblemished this year.

2 1/2 years old, and another sub-par performer growth wise, compared to other DA roses.
Planted at the same time as Desdemona in front, the difference in stature is clear.
Growth is sturdy enough though and again, can be forgiven for the fragrance.

          Falstaff.
The only rose that I am still awaiting to bloom. It's 2 weeks late this year up to now.

            Ghislaine de Feligonde.
Big, robust, vigorous, covered in buds and blooms, lovely fragrance, an excellent rose, not much else to say really.

GdF cutting doing well. Seems it's going to thrive so I think I will treat this to a bigger pot in the autumn.
