I got my email this morning - my spamblocker put it in with the junk mail. Never realised a spam blocker could be so discerning!

You do reolise that its not our Tony that needs the money, Its Gordon. The reason that he needs to be P.M.soon by Tony resigning is he gets to be P.M. without the publics vote (otherwise not a chance and he knows it). That way his autobiography is worth more and he gets P.M. perks even if he is only in office for a week.
Just think enhanced pension, Knighthood (without having to buy it) and to go down in history as the last Scot to hold the office.
Do you wonder why they treet us like the Milch Cow. The real question is as to weither Members of Parlment of any colour are fit for purpose. If they dont pay for Gordons pension by this route they will find another.
Is it any wonder that voter apathy is so prevelent.

OWG - got it in one. If there was a way I could upset the Brown juggernaught, I would. The thought of him as PM just fills me with horror - both distrust and dislike him from what I've seen over the years.

I can't recall a time when politicians were so generally distrusted and disliked. Nevertheless, the whole lot of them put together wouldn't make my skin crawl so much as Ken Livingstone

Trouble with politics these days is that it is regarded as a career. Gone are the days when a lot of people entered politics for beliefs and altruistic motives.

Career politicians do what it takes to continue to earn their salary and achieve promotion. Whats the old saying - power corrupts, absolute power corrupst absolutely.

I got my e-mail too, about two pages worth. I think this is another example of government waste. He could have sumarised the whole thing in two words - piss Off.
