      The whole garden has the same design, some of the walls are eight foot high. The property owner drew up the plans for the builders but it took three different firms to complete the job properly!.....It is a private house near Chipping Campden and attracts much viewing.

        Very nice to be in a position to be able to have it built like that although I can imagine it was very hard to get the desired perfection... Is the house nice, quirky or what.. I would like to think quirky.. :biggrin:

          I imagine it was CAD designed, even if it was it would not be an easy build.

            We gave a copy of an Escher Staircase to our chippy and asked if he could build it :snork:

            He wasn't happy.

              The house is a barn conversion, nothing out of the ordinary at all. Nice owners too.

                And this is the conversion,an old stable block. The stones came from the ruins of the Hall burnt down during the Civil war.

                The windows are Oak and I've had to mix up a grey putty that will match the timber as it mellows.
