Does anyone know what plant this is please ? Its a strong perennial which comes back every year without fail. Strikingly coloured orange foliage too.

That is Euphorbia Griffithii if I'm not mistaken. Vigorous and in some places, invasive but good looking Euphorbia.

I go along with Blackthorn, E Griffithii, I dissagree on the invasive part though.

    It dont like my garden.:D

The one I'm struggling with is , I think, called Euphorbia Griffithii fireglow "Dixter".

Which is supposed to be a brighter red.

Pete, I think that E.Griffithii likes moist soil in semi shade. I had some in a hot dry spot and it really struggled.

The location in my garden is precisely as you describe, moist and semi shaded too. Many thanks for the information too.

    OK Blackthorn, thanks.
I think the actual problem with mine is its too shady, its been overtaken by shrubs which are probably making it dry as well.
I'll have to find a place to move it to.
