Forecast this morning was 19C here by Thursday.
When pushed how long it is going to last the BBC bloke said a couple of days:lunapic 130165696578242 5:I think he was joking??

I hope he is wrong on both counts as some of the others are saying low to mid 20s, but not heard any of them put their heads on the block and say how long it will last.

They was saying the weekend would be good earlier in the week, now Sat might be OK if you dodge the heavy showers and Sun looks rubbish in the West, moving East.

            at 11C, I'll try.

Mine are totally leafless at the moment and bone dry, waiting for some proper warmth, at that stage I'll start watering.
If you keep them in leaf during winter greenfly are pretty much inevitable.

Wrong place to be talking about this @kazzawazza :) But no, you dont take the leaves off when you root the cuttings.
If you are taking cuttings at the end of the season you need to keep your eyes open all winter foir greenfly, and spray at first sign, much easier to dry the old plant off, it loses its leaves naturally and you can keep it in fairly cold conditions.
It then gets away fast once you water it in spring.
Your cuttings are salvageable, just spray them with an aerosol insecticide.
