A friend of ours in England, also called Pete, told us if you sprinkle raw cement (the horrible dusty stuff) across shingle and then take a light hose or watering can to it, it sets it in place.

We tried this on our paths there and it worked!

Yes mine is sharp pete, the smooth stuff was too much �£�£�£. Your right though about the movement. I have the smooth, which I love, but use it decoratively.
