    The second one looks like Phlox to me, not sure on the first, maybe an Anenome?

    I am sure more of the experts will be along for a more definitive answer.

    I think the pink flower is a Schizostylis (Hesperantha) the other one I don't know.

    Hi both,
    many thanks for this, having checked photos on the internet i think we have two positive identifications!
    Should i be cutting the phlox back at this stage to encourage denser growth or leave as is?

    If you cut the phlox back now you will certainly delay or even prevent flowering for this year.
