Solved Plant identification please

Hi, I am trying to identify this plant/weed. I dug it up last year as far down as I could, but obviously didn't get the roots and it is spreading like wild fire. I would like to get it removed as it is right next to my house. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

 

Looks to me like winter heliotrope. Here is a link to the RHS page about it that includes some details on how it can be controlled.
