Reading posts like yours reassures me that I'm not obsessive about plants. I got another 2,000 80mm dia. pots complete with trays earlier this year (from where the contents are used locally in mass bedding schemes) and I've already used nearly half of them. I've also bought 500ish new 70mm semi rigid square (most efficient use of space) pots @ 5p each because my propagators take 40 in each and my growlight box takes over 100 and trays of them go in there in shifts.

Still might go for a 6,000 flexi-pot purchase next year though........

You cant beat i good obsession :blue thumb: one of our local mini garden centres has offered me some free(used) pots but ive not been back yet,we are going to take him some of our gunnera when its ready to dig out soon :) id feel cheeky taking the pots without giving him something back  all i will need then is free compost n trays :heehee:
What do you do with all youve grown? friends, family n neighbours will be getting a chunk of mine and ive got my garden to fill :)

He may want the gunnera but may not take it - 'elf and Safety . The EU regs say you must have a plant health licence before you can sell to them :wallbanging:

Sorry, Julie, I don't have any info. When I tried to sell some plants, to local garden centres, that I had grown in the garden (not just in pots) they all said that I would need to show I had a plant health licence. It may just have been because they were on the restricted list but I can't remember what plants the were - it was well over 20 years ago!

All I remember is that I, eventually, sold them to flower shops and small shops that sold plants.

There's no harm in asking him whether he wants your plants (don't mention anything about licences ) and see what happens.
