May I apologise for any misunderstanding. No offense was intended. My late wife bought an 8x6 GH for Amanda a few years ago. The framework is probably thinner gauge tin than a typical baked bean tin. The covering simple polythene sheeting. During construction, the frame parts were bending all over the place. Eventually with added strengthening job done. First storm. The sheeting was nothing but a mess of strips.

In my garden I've had these plastic grow houses for around 5 years, all bought from Wilko, never had a problem. Wilko sell off the replacement covers for £3,so I have a few spare.
Oh the covers last about 3 years. P1010058.JPG P1010057.JPG

No need to apologise Mike, I knew what you meant. I'll do my best to secure it well. If I manage a few lettuce and spring onions,I'll be happy and so will my daughter.

              I grow Tomatoes & Cucumbers.
I should add to the above post that they are anchored down well and during the recent storms I use Bungee cord/rope across them and anchored to the walls.

I have mine sat on Scaffold planks buried in the ground, the bottom of the frame is bolted to them.
