Someone suggested that I take a holiday there.
Anyone know much about the place?
I have been told that they make pottery and tables there, and that it has a castle?
    I like castles :)
Is there anything else to do there? or see?

Don't know much as I only pass through en route to other places. There's a ferry port (to France), boat builders, Brownsea island where the Scouting movement began and Sandbanks, the most expensive properties in Britain. Beaches are good (Bournemouth is close by) and you're close to other interesting places like the New Forest and on the border between Hampshire and Dorset. That's it... all I know!

Although Browsea Island is nice, I find Poole and Bournmouth a bit too busy for me, i'd prefer Swanage if I was going that direction.

You can get a steam train from there to Corfe Castle :)
