Well, we are a dominion and do have separate "Houses of Parliament"

Course we're just a kid compared to you. We're only 159 years old this year.

 

No Lori, Scotland has had Plastic notes for a year and the UK as a whole have Plastic notes from September, they are great, nice clean and crisp still

 

Cos it's good to know how to get fed in the coming depression?

Once again, in the spirit of positivity;
Less traffic on the roads as the price of fuel goes up.
Less food miles as imported food becomes more expensive and the new national diet of tatties and turnips replaces more exotic fare.

 

I better go check my GBP. I thought they were paper but it could just be crisp and not papery.

I can hardly wait to come there and spend them

When I started this thread, my goal was to show people that there is stuff to be positive about. I'd hoped to leave all the doom mongering to the other thread and the whole of social media. Sadly it was not to be. A very persistent minority seem determined to bring the depression even to the one thread that was meant to stay positive. Such a shame.

Doesn't matter. I love thinking about spending it in a country that will be restored to much like my , war bride, Darlington county, Mother left it.

I am so happy for everyone there. When I come there I will visit Stonehenge and other bloodthirsty tourist locations and the gentle gardens and pubs too!
