pruning

    Is it too late to prune back roses? should I wait now until spring?

    Hi Axie, I prune when the plants are dormant. In mild areas you can prune in the autumn (November), but if your garden gets frosty and cold in the winter then prune in the spring (March/April) when it's a bit warmer. I give mine a light tidy up prune now & then a proper prune March time myself, not sure how cold & frosty you get over there.... :wink: Here is a link to Woo's pruning thread..
