      IMG_3781.JPG Well the cold and rain we have had last two days will not do the pumpkin any good got a photo of the plant so far needs a big of a weed round it but it's moving well

              Nice photo Richard with the sun. That fruit is early I think you have a good chance of a big one this year. Reading Matt's Blog from last year he pollinated the first female on 7th July.

                Thank you jwk the pumpkin is only growing slowly at the minute but giving regular feed and watering as often as I can
                I am really hoping for a 500lb this year trying my best to get to get one for last few years

                            The tub has a 15L capacity according to the markings on the base.

                            I've drilled drainage holes, and filled it with a spent multipurpose compost/sharp sand/top soil mix sitting on top of an inch layer of bark chippings.

                              The resulting negative vibe manifested a slime trail and small bite marks at the junction between stalk and fruit.
