    Waco, that is a beautiful rose TREE! I was wondering: how old is it?

    It was bought for my Father on his last birthday before he died (1999) so it is comming up 7 years.

    It always reminds me of him, so its very special to me.

    I planted a Kiftsgate in my Cambridge garden would you believe me if I told you that it took over.. a 30 year old Bramley apple tree in about three years, looked fantastic but harvesting time for the apples was a prickly problem,
    It filled the garden with a heady perfume for about two weeks.

    They are absolutely beautiful and I can almost smell them from here! Shame you missed the competition with them - they're a real stunner.
