I bought a small punnet of raspberries from Morrisons.
So delicious, juicy and fresh - grown in Kent.
    There were only 35 for £1.99 - then I thought -
hey! wait a minute that means they cost over 5p each!!!

Who would have thought it - 5p a raspberry [IMG]

Phew. I`m now hoping that the rasberry canes I planted a few weeks ago come up with the goods. I have to agree with you, fresh sweet rasberries are to die for.

I planted a raspberry bush on my land last year. Despite putting mesh round it, which I partially buried, a rabbit or deer got it and it was gone. Then this year it came back. It was one short vine last year before being eaten, now there are 3 or 4 good vines coming off it. Lets hope it does well, I could save myself a couple of quid a year on raspberries if it comes good.
