Recommendations for lights to wrap around an outdoor plant

A few homes round me have put lights around their outdoor plants in their front gardens. Can anyone recommend a brand of light that looks good that i can wrap around an outdoor plant over Christmas. It needs to be something that doesnt need an electrician to come install it though

 

A year or so back I came across an electrician who used Christmas lights to keep his tree ferns frost free, but he did live in Leicestershire a fairly cold part of England.
Why be a sheep, just stick up a placard that says "Bah Humbug" and be done with it.
